PHD Profile

PHD Institute Ltd. was founded in 1997 by Professor Akiva Fradkin (Ph.D.) from Israel and he is the President of the institute.
PHD Institute represents 26 universities from 15 different countries, in order to fulfill our mission to provide adult students the opportunity to complete their academic education, mostly towards doctorate degrees around the world, via distance learning (In the last five years we had more than 1200 graduates). As for today, there are professors and lecturers in many universities and colleges, which had completed their doctorate studies through PHD Institute.
PHD institute recruit students for the represented universities and prepare them to the doctorate studies, in part by "research methods", "statistics" and "using the internet for research" courses and handles the administrative process.
PHD Institute has also been asked to consult Professional Colleges concerning options available to their students regarding opportunities to study towards an academic degree.
In addition, PHD works as a research consultant for many companies, factories as well as for many others such as Governmental Departments and Municipal Governments

Our main office is in the metropolitan area of Tel Aviv, and the administration includes 11 people. Today, the Institute also operates in the United Kingdom, Russia, Turkey, Latvia, Czech Republic, Serbia & Bulgaria. We also have more than 30 academic staff especially in the disciplines of Education, Psychology, Business Administration and Law. All of them are at least senior lectures in academic institutions.
In many countries, there are only few fully accredited universities, not all of them offer the complete range of academic degrees. The demand for higher education is much greater than the supply that these universities can provide. Therefore, many students are forced to go overseas, in order to fulfill their educational and professional needs.
An exploratory research we made with GOOGLE found that there is a huge interest in obtaining doctorate degrees around the world.
There are many excellent students who have acquired Masters Degrees, but are unable to continue to the doctoral level due to the strict academic requirements imposed by the domestic universities in order to limit spaces. Only 10% of the candidates are accepted into the doctoral programs. The others have no other choice but to either go abroad, or to abandon their plans. It is to these students whom PHD is dedicated.
